About the Candidate

A Leader Rooted in Kano

Born on August 25, 1956, in Kano Municipal, Kano State, Alhaji Muhammad Nasir Muhtar has dedicated decades of service to the advancement of his home state and the nation as a whole, serving across the public and private sectors in various capacities.

A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, with a B.Sc in Sociology and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, he brings extensive academic and professional credentials to his candidacy.
